Who is Txana Ibã

A young Txana echoing the Amazon spirit

Txana Ibã Huni Kuin is a youngster of the Amazon village Novo Futuro generation, son of the Shanē, one of the oldest keepers of the sacred plant wisdom, and brother of peace-shining Txana Iba. His strong spirit was raised, together by many pajés, into a powerful singing Txana echoing the Amazon spirit.

Ibã is a young Txana. He has been preparing and conducting Nixi Pae ceremonies in his village since the age of 17 with his Huni Kuin peers. He travels around Brazil and the world bringing his healing power and culture closer to the townspeople.

His consciousness is sharp and penetrating and gentle at the same time. Ancestral Huni Kuin prayers take a profound role in his navigation in the night.

Sacred snuff · not psychoactive

A powder of sacred herbs, flowers, ash and jungle tobacco (mapacho), blown into each nostril through an applicator. It clears the energy field, balances the chakras, grounds a clouded mind and helps release what no longer serves — sometimes through purging. The Huni Kuin say the spirit of the forest lives in it.

Drops made from the roots of an Amazonian shrub (Tabernaemontana undulata), applied to the eyes. All of this care, guided by "pajés", provides a life-changing experience that helps with a deep reconnection with the forces of the universe, a sense of community, and self-discovery.

Kambo frog medicine

Frog medicine · deep cleanse

A medicine from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog, used for centuries by Amazonian peoples. Applied through small skin points, it works through the bloodstream for deep cleansing and immune strengthening. A short, strong purge signals it is working. A specific diet is followed afterward to keep its long-term benefits.

Hampaya - Voice Opening

The leader invokes the spirit of the Txana bird — the one that imitates every sound of the forest — and applies a paste of crushed chili to the tongue while praying. This opens and strengthens the voice, to sing, to express oneself, even to learn a language. The chants move through three phases: calling the force, invoking the visions, and balancing the force.

Native Bazaar

WE host a native bazaar where you can find ritual objects, jewellery, Rapé, mambe, blue lotus, traditional patterns and Huni Kuin garments — handcrafted pieces that carry the forest home with you.

Individual Healing

One-to-one · about one hour

A private session to clean and balance the energy field. The pajé works with ancient healing techniques in the tradition of the ancestors, alongside healing chants, Rapé and Sananga. A short conversation before and after — with an assistant helping to translate and interpret — holds the insights.

Nixi Pae — Night Prayer

All-night ceremony · 2 nights recommended

The deep night ceremony, held at a carefully chosen location with experienced facilitators and their assistants. On confirmation you receive a dietary guide to prepare your body for the journey. The prayer ends in the morning.
